This renovation of a ranch house at a horse farm in Northern California takes its cues from the straightforward and deliberate constructions of the rural American landscape. A pragmatic, yet highly refined approach to material selections, space planning, detailing, and furniture injects some urbanity into the functional demands of the ranch. Nothing is extraneous, but everything is treated with great care.
